I'm only passing through...
And You Make Them Invent Color
Published on February 29, 2004 By new-age nomad In Misc
No one has ever been able to tell me what color my eyes are. I have no idea what color they are; they change so often I can't keep up. I know many people who have this same trait, but I think with me it's different.

At first I thought they changed with what I wore; that proved to be wrong. So, I came up with a theory that God blessed me with eyes that tell people how I'm feeling---since He didn't choose to bless me with the gift of communication.

I've been keeping track of my feelings, and at the same time keeping track of my eye color. Here are my results:

When I am...

Despondent: My eyes hide behind my lashes and turn a really creepy yellow.

Apathetic: My eyes form small gray disks and continue to fade if the feeling doesn't.

Content: My eyes are as simple as they get---hazel.

Wrathful: My eyes sink into the deepest blue color I have yet to encounter.

Blithe: My eyes create images behind the color...i.e. sunflowers...

Blissful: My eyes glow with the most beautiful color in the world, a dark green.

Talking to Dan: Unexplainable...you made my eyes invent color.

Eyes are a window to ones soul.

You can read a lot into a person from an intent glare into their eyes...

My eyes are generally a deep hazel color, however, when I am in extreme moods, they tend to change color. If I am extremely happy they have been known to turn bright blue, and when I am extremely angry they turn a dark forboding green.

You are not alone, there was another girl I knew who's eyes would turn gold when she was happy. However, I'm pretty sure that the alterations of pigments in one's eyes is not all that common.

When most people's eyes turn a creepy yellow they have Hepatitis...you may want to get that checked out.

Hepatitis... That would suck....
I've been told I have very beautiful eyes... I've never really looked at them, but mine too are pretty weird in the fact that you can't see the pupils, unless you are like two centimeters from my eyes. Which pretty much means my eye color is almost black, or a very very very very dark brown.

I think that's pretty cool, especially since sometimes in classes throughout the years, students are supposed to look into each other's eyes to watch the pupils dilate and all that stuff, and every time someone looks into my eyes they're like "I can't see your pupils!" And that is cool.
